What we do

We maintain curated listings for dining, lodging, tours and experiences, and transportation around Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, and the Hatteras villages and Cape Hatteras National Seashore, covering the Outer Banks' beaches and lighthouses including the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Wright Brothers National Memorial, and off-road vehicle (ORV) beach access. Alongside listings, we publish trip-planning guides, cost information, and a real-time weather forecast for the area, so you can plan around conditions instead of finding out about them after you've packed the car.

What we're not

Outer Banks Travel is not a tour operator, booking agent, or travel agency. We don't sell tours, process reservations, or take a cut of anything you book. When a listing links out to a business's own site or a booking platform, that's where the transaction happens — we're the map, not the middleman.
