About

Oregon Inlet Campground has 107 sites and is open year round. Camping on a barrier island provides a chance to take in the power and nature of this special place. Listen to the breaking ocean waves while staring up at the night sky filled with stars. Walk along the sandy beaches during the day and share stories with friends at night. RV hookups are available at select sites. Running water and flush toilets are throughout the campground.

Overview

Oregon Inlet has over 260 individual sites across three loops (A, B, C) plus one group site. Each loop has a bathhouse with flush toilets, potable water, and outdoor cold showers; every site has paved parking, a picnic table, and a charcoal grill. Select sites offer RV hookups, with a complimentary dump/water station across Highway 12.

Rules

Camping is limited to 14 days total between Easter and Thanksgiving, 30 days the rest of the year. Reservations require campers to be 18+, with a 6-person and 2-vehicle limit per site. Contact: (252) 475-9054, or book via Recreation.gov.
