BEACHSIDE BITES

Breakfast and lunch daily from 8 to 3 on Kitty Hawk's Croatan Highway strip

About

Beachside Bites is a daytime kitchen on N Croatan Highway in Kitty Hawk, right along the northern stretch of the Beach Road/Croatan Highway corridor that runs through Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head. Doors are open every day, 8am to 3pm — breakfast and lunch only, no dinner service — which makes it a straightforward stop before a beach day or on the way through town rather than an evening destination.

At a $$ price point, it fits the casual, no-frills end of the Outer Banks food scene: quick, daytime, and priced for a regular breakfast or lunch rather than a special occasion. Because it sits on the highway corridor rather than the oceanfront, it works well as a practical stop if you're staying anywhere between Kitty Hawk and Nags Head and want something on the way rather than a sit-down affair.

  • Hours: Daily, 8am–3pm
  • Price: $$
  • Location: N Croatan Highway, Kitty Hawk

Beachside Bites doesn't have an online review history yet, so there's no track record to lean on here — call ahead or check the website for current menu details before making it part of your day.

My girlfriend and I Went back to back 2 days in a row and will be visiting again before we leave! The lady who owns it made our experience so much better, she’s so friendly and sweet. Just a good, genuine person trying to make an honest living❤️ The food was just a bonus! (The popsicles are delicious too🤪) Please if you even thought about going, GO!

A great spot for breakfast. Not only are they extremely friendly and welcoming but they were able to make an adjustment on two items from the menu due to my special diet. They are DOG-FRIENDLY and even gave us a bowl of water for our pup pup. ALL IN ALL DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST SPOTS FOR BREAKFAST SANDWICHES OR BURRITOS and I’ll even recommend the breakfast burrito and biscuit sandwich from my own experience. Oh and that mango-nectar juice slaps!
