Brew Thru Jockey's Ridge is a drive-thru convenience and beverage store on the Beach Road (S. Virginia Dare Trail) in Nags Head, part of the small Outer Banks-only chain that's run the same format up and down the barrier island for decades: pull up, place your order at the window, and you're back on the road in a couple of minutes.
That setup matters more than it sounds like it should on a family beach trip. Nobody has to get unbuckled from a car seat, dried off, or talked into leaving the sand for a restock run. It's open daily from 8am to 10pm, covering both the morning ice run before the cooler gets packed and an after-dinner top-off. The location sits along the Beach Road corridor in the Jockey's Ridge area of Nags Head, a short drive from the dune itself. Stock at a store like this can shift day to day, so call ahead if you need something specific, but for the basics — cold drinks, ice, and beer or wine for the cooler — it's a fast, no-parking-lot option that beats a full grocery run.

They are all the same. A bunch of smiles, friendly service, plenty of merch, and great way to avoid getting out of the car. Does their beer and such cost more? Probably, but if this is only place you stop for beer, wine, and such, you'll never know.

This Brew thru was AMAZING! The gentleman who helped us buy 4 shirt (and we got one free) so 5 in total was very patient. He had given us a menu prior to entering the Brew Thru so we could see their offerings. When we got in there, he gave is recommendations on which beer to buy after I asked for a certain IPA that they didnt have and it was a hit!thank you Brew Thru. Wish all shopping was this easy.

More expensive than I was expecting.. but at the same time, it was kinda exactly what I was expecting because of the service & ease. Girls were very nice & peppy!

Pretty much a must do if you are visiting the Outer Banks. An OBX staple forever, just pull in tell the attendant what you want and walla your good to go. They have a pretty good selection of most drinks and beers. We more tend to stop now due to traditional then anything else get a couple of drinks and my wife gets a yearly tee-shirt. The probably sell as many shirts as booze, great logo and lots of different items to choose from for a souvenir. Staff has always been helpful. Great gimic and worth checking out and seeing if it's for you. Just make sure you know what you want, you can hold other people up if your sitting trying to figure it out.

My family's first trip to the Outer Banks, and we loved it. What a great concept. A drive thru to buy beer, soft drinks, t-shirts and souvenirs. This was our first, and hopefully not our last, visit to a Brew Thru. Our helper was friendly, and very patient with us.
