Breakfast through dinner, right on Duck Road, seven days a week
Coastal Cravings sits on Duck Road in the heart of Duck, close enough to the soundside boardwalk and the town's boutique shops to make it an easy stop without much of a detour. The name points toward coastal, seafood-leaning fare, and the hours back that up: doors open early enough for breakfast and stay open clear through dinner, seven days a week. That kind of all-day schedule is handy in a town where plenty of restaurants keep tighter, single-meal hours.
Pricing sits in the moderate $$ range, and the Duck Road address puts it right along the town's main corridor — an easy add for anyone splitting a Duck day between the beach, the sound, and the shops that give this stretch its low-key, upscale character. Visitors coming down from Corolla or staying in Duck itself won't need to hunt for a side street to find it. It's a practical choice for locals and repeat visitors who want a full-day option rather than a reservation-only sit-down.

Food was good. Chicken tenders, Caesar salad, hushpuppies (excellent), chocolate chip cream sundae (excellent, cookies was so good).

Food was Mediocre at best. Service was ok. Not sure why when we arrived for 2 people with plenty of open tables why we were told a 45 minutes wait. We sat at the bar with a bunch of screaming kids. Not coming back.

One of our best OBX meals! I got the fish tacos - an absolute explosion of flavor with super tender, fresh mahi. Everything that was fried had a really lovely light batter and was perfectly done. EXCELLENT pain killer in a generous cup. Husband said his chicken sandwich was excellent and we all enjoyed the coconut shrimp.
