Corolla Adventure Park

An adventure-park name, a laid-back Corolla bar-and-eatery reality

About

Corolla Adventure Park sits on Ponton Lane in Corolla, and despite the name, it operates day to day as a casual bar and eatery — Google categorizes it as a Brewery & Bar with food service, take-out, and a small retail component alongside the bar. It's a straightforward, unfussy option for a drink and a bite without dressing up, the kind of low-key stop that fits the pace of a Corolla beach trip.

Hours

The park is open six days a week, closed Sundays. Monday and Saturday hours run 9:30am to 5pm, while Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday run 9am to 5pm, and Thursday stretches later, 9am to 8pm. That mix of bar, restaurant, and take-out service types on file means it works either as a sit-down stop or a quicker to-go order if you're headed to the beach or back to a rental.

Corolla is the northernmost paved town on this stretch of the Outer Banks — beyond the end of NC-12, the road gives way to the 4x4 beaches where the wild Spanish mustangs roam, managed by the Corolla Wild Horse Fund. Corolla Adventure Park, on Ponton Lane, is accessible by regular car like the rest of paved Corolla. For current offerings or to confirm hours before a visit, call (252) 597-1997 or check the website, since specifics can shift by season.

This was our first time here and we had a great experience! Everything was very well organized, the safety instructions were clear, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We had such a great time. Highly recommend it, and we would definitely come back!

We had an amazing time at this adventure park! The park has three or four floors(I don't really remember) with three levels of difficulty, from easy to hard. There are even areas for small kids. We had two hours and couldn't finish everything because there is so much to do. I am not scared of heights, but some of the obstacles were really hard and a bit scary, which made it very exciting. It started to rain during our visit, but the staff is great—if it rains right when you start, they can give you a discount or your money back. We had so much fun and definitely recommend it!

Jenny was so positive, kind, and hilarious! She’s got the best sense of humor and wit and was so enthusiastic the entire time. She made our experience truly memorable and was such a positive guide. Our kids loved having her as their guide! Corolla adventure park has some of the best staff out there :)

Jenny was the GOAT at Corolla Adventure Park, and the funny part is she wasn’t even there to do the courses. As a worker, she mostly rode the zip line to help rescue people when they got stuck. Every time someone needed help, Jenny was there in seconds, flying down the zip line like a superhero. She kept everyone safe, stayed calm under pressure, and somehow made it look easy. By the end of the day, it was obvious that Jenny wasn’t just an employee she was the GOAT of Corolla Adventure Park.
