Lines out the door 15 minutes before it even opens. Menu rotates, so while you read this review the menu might have changed. Fantastic experience. Probably a must stop over any other restaurant in ocrakoke.

Con:
- there were two girls walking around who worked there, looked like twins that would scoop up your plate or ask if you were finished constantly throughout the night, which was so off putting and ruined the experienced. I get that maybe they wanted you out for the next party to sit. But after 6 times asking if I was done I started getting annoyed.
Overall great, will return. Just need to tone down the plated scopping operation they got going on.
I've always wanted to eat here when visiting the island and my expectations were surpassed! I called ahead to be sure they were open for the season and to see if reservations were needed but got no answer. I hung up and was talking to my husband when I got a call back from the restaurant. Awesome service. The inside of the restaurant is warm and inviting. The service was excellent - attentive but also respectful of our space. The food was out of this world. Smoked bluefish to start, pecan crusted drum as an entree, and a flourless chocolate torte for dessert.
They have a large wine list and a separate bar just as you enter the restaurant.
Expect higher prices, but you get what you pay for and this was money well spent.
Espresso martini was delicious! The food was great too, I had the pecan crusted drum. Service was on the slower side, we got the wrong side, and our server felt like she was overwhelmed, but other than that it was a good experience. Beautiful restaurant environment.
This is Ocracoke’a “gourmet” restaurant. We ate there as a family of 4.
The food was reasonably good. Not as good as I would expect from a gourmet restaurant but passable. The cocktails were great.
The price however is way too expensive for what this is. It’s high end gourmet prices with food that doesn’t quite meet the standard. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good but I expect much better for what they charge.
Celebrated our anniversary dinner here. 10/10 food and service! We had a quiet table upstairs by a window. I got a cosmo martini and it was made perfectly!
