We stopped at Hatteras Sol Waterside Grill with a group of 9. The wait was over an hour. After getting on the wait list, we were texted a code to monitor the wait time, so we were able to wait ilback at our rental for the majority of the time. There is nice sesting available to wait outside, with a view of the dock.
We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers (clam strips, Hatteras clam chowder, she crab soup, crab cake, and goat cheese salad). Our main entres were delicious, especially the crab cakes, chicken marsala, and shrimp carbonara.
Service was wonderful. We hope to get back here again!
This has become a staple when visiting Hatteras, and the only place we actually eat twice during our week stay! The food is absolutely amazing, and the carrot cake is by far the best I’ve ever had!
So many excellent dishes: Mediterranean Shrimp and Scallops, Shrimp Carbonara, and the best of all… the Tournedos of Beef & Shrimp Diavolo! The sauce is absolutely incredible.
Take the chance and choose here for dinner one night or the whole week, you cannot go wrong.
One of the best restaurants on the island. It's expensive but man is it good. My swordfish was amazing. Perfectly prepared. No issues at all. The clam chowder was great too. Great service. Had a bit of a wait but it was well worth it. Hot blue crab dip was really good too. It was all fantastic.
We ate dinner here after a recommendation from another restaurant next door that was sub par. Food was amazing. We had crab dip, crab cakes , and the fish tacos. The sides were amazing. Our server was phenomenal. The beer on tap was good. The one complaint I would have is the lack of alcohol in the drink specials. But everything else made up for it. That view was amazing. We are here for a few more days and will be back. When food is great the bill is tolerable 😄
Wonderful restaurant! My husband and I both got dishes from the specials menu and they were amazing! Mine was the 3 cheese bison bolognese pasta, and it was better than the bolognese dish from my favorite italian restaurant in Raleigh. Highly recommend!
