Jolly Roger Pub & Marina sits on Silver Lake Harbor in Ocracoke village, a casual bar and restaurant with its own marina attached. It's a no-frills waterfront stop — bar food and cold drinks with a view of whatever's tied up at the dock, from day-sailors to visitors who rode the ferry over from Hatteras or the mainland to spend an afternoon in the village.

Marina side

Because it's attached to a working marina, this is as much a stop for boaters passing through the harbor as it is for anyone walking over from a room in the village. Dock traffic shifts with the season — busier in summer, quieter in the shoulder months — and the view from a table here changes along with it.

First time stopping here since they re-opened. Wow, really impressed. Great two story outdoor covered sitting. I got the fish tacos and wife the tuna bowl and both were extremely good, much better than we were expecting. Island was slow today due to rain so place was not busy for lunch, but does get busy when it’s nice out. We will be back for sure!

YES!!!! this place is WONDERFUL!!! lots of choices on the menu, food is very very good to great, the bar is SUPERB, the view is STUNNING of Silver Lake, the entire wait staff works very very hard to make you're happy and it shows, live music almost every day now that's a winner winner chicken dinner, their musicians are wonderful!!!! Jolly Roger is reborn bigger and better than ever, plus plenty of bathrooms that are super duper clean. Plenty of bike parking, the owners have thought of everything, on a blistering hot day during the dog days of summer when the sun is so hot you can bake biscuits in your mailbox the wait staff is wonderful in helping us move to a seat that's in the shade. Listenng to live music after devouring a basket of shrimp tacos and a cold adult beverage as the sun sets on Silver Lake is HEAVEN ON EARTH! Cheers , I'm sure Blackbeard would approve too. I almost forgot whoever is in charge of the Facebook page for the Jolly Roger is doing a stellar super duper fantastic super marvelous job.
