Small and intimate. Food was really good as was the service. It is truly a sports bar with darts and pool available.

From rude service and overpriced, mediocre late-night food to 45-minute meal wait times and filthy fountain soda hoses that leave you nauseated while drinking, Lighthouse manages to check every box of what not to do in a dining experience. It’s almost as if the place is committed to delivering pure disappointment. I’d say they should do better—but something tells me the owners are already well aware and simply don’t care 🤷

Best wings on the island. I had traditional buffalo with blue cheese and Old Bay with ranch. Full bar, TVs and a couple pool tables. A laid back Hatteras vibe.

We ordered take out from here. The taco party platter. It was excellent. We couldn't finish the platter in one sitting. We especially loved the shrimp tacos. I look forward to go back one day and eat inside.

My daughter picked out this place to eat on our way through Buxton. I will admit when I walked in I was a bit hesitant but I was pleasantly surprised. Our food was good. Everyone was happy. Homemade chips and salsa were great. Wings were good. Burger was tasty. Wait staff (one women) was running around taking care of everyone and doing a great job. Thank you!
