Northern Outer Banks Brewing Company is a craft brewery and taproom in Corolla, set on Old Stoney Rd just off the main road through town. It's a straightforward, unpretentious stop for a pint and a bite — the kind of place that works for a casual afternoon or evening without any beach-town spectacle attached.
The brewery pours its own craft beer and serves food on site, so it functions as a real lunch or dinner option in Corolla rather than just a drinks stop. That matters here — Corolla's dining scene thins out compared to the core beaches south of here, so having a brewery with a kitchen right in town is genuinely useful. It's a good stop after a morning at the beach or a visit to Currituck Heritage Park.

Good selection, tasty beer. Service could be better. Visited with a group and it was obviously our first time there. The girl at the counter was not very welcoming or helpful. The place was absolutely empty and she couldn’t be bothered to explain anything about the beers they make. It’s a very small indoor seating area inside the brewery. The beers were pretty good and I would stop in for another if in the area.

Cool local brewery in OBX. More of a west coast IPA brewery versus hazy so it isn’t for me.

Nice small, local brewery. Fairly pale/ipa focused selection when we were there, but everything was great. Nice place to hang out and have a beer when the weather's nice outside.

Beer was pretty good, but limited. There’s nowhere to sit inside so we sat outside where it was quite hot. Admittedly this review is based on shortages, both labor and supply. I hope to bump it up to at least 4 stars soon. It’s definitely worth a stop though! Staff is very friendly and the location is great under normal, non-pandemic circumstances.

Awesome little brew house tucked away in this shopping center! Michael and Kathleen were super friendly and happy to talk to us about their brewery and the brewing process. Delicious beer including - blonde lager, penny’s hill ipa, and the honey pale ale. Even took a few 4 packs to go! Will definitely be returning and looking forward to following the success of this brewery in the future!
