This is my peoples food and I ordered two falafel’s on my first day in OBX $65 later I got two barely flavorful falafel and the meat was so dry that it tasted like Taco Bell that was left out to dry out.

Late-night gyros and Mediterranean fare right on Croatan Highway
OBX Gyro sits right on S Croatan Highway in Kill Devil Hills, dishing up gyros and other Mediterranean-style plates in the middle of the northern Outer Banks strip that runs through Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, and Kitty Hawk. It's an easy stop on the way to or from two of the region's biggest landmarks — the Wright Brothers National Memorial and the dunes at Jockey's Ridge State Park, both just a short drive away.
Those later Friday and Saturday hours put it among the few kitchens in Kill Devil Hills still open that late, worth keeping in mind for anyone wrapping up a beach day or a night out along Croatan Highway later than most restaurants stay open. At a moderate $$ price point, it's a solid option for a quick, casual meal without needing a reservation.

The service was nothing to shout about and the food was not that great. I honestly would not recommend.

Insanely overpriced and below average gyro. $24 before gratuity gets you this, as pictured. Crazy small portions, would recommend skipping this one.

Ordered two lamb+steak gyros to go. The food was ready quickly and let me tell you, SO delish! The meat was tender and flavorful, and all the toppings soooo good. Next time I'm trying the dolmas! Thanks for bringing something different to the OBX!
