Tiki drinks and easy evenings a few blocks off Shallowbag Bay in downtown Manteo
OBX Tiki Time sits on Queen Elizabeth Avenue in downtown Manteo, a few streets in from the Shallowbag Bay waterfront that gives this side of Roanoke Island its walkable, small-town feel. The name is a fair preview: a tropical-leaning bar built around tiki style and casual drinks, with an atmosphere that trades the historic gravity of the rest of the island for something looser and more colorful.
It keeps regular hours most of the week, open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Sunday, with a shorter Tuesday window from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. — the kind of single-day exception that's easy to miss, so a quick check of the website or a call ahead is worth it if you're building an evening around it. Its downtown address puts it within an easy walk of Manteo's other waterfront shops, galleries, and restaurants, making it a straightforward stop to fold into a day spent around Shallowbag Bay or a visit to the historic sites on the island's north end.

What an awesome time. Music was great, BYOB was clutch. Captain Danny was a cool dude. He let my 2 year old "steer the boat" and it made her night. He really makes the experience. We've been coming down here for 30 years and this was our first time. Will be making this a family tradition.

Great dolphin tour. Boat was comfy and festive. Captain Dustin was friendly and informative. This is a must do while at OBX.
