Ocracoke Oyster Company serves seafood in Ocracoke village, an easy walk from Silver Lake Harbor, the historic anchorage that anchors the village's restaurants, shops, and ferry traffic. As the name suggests, oysters are the draw here, served alongside the rest of a seafood menu at a $$ price point that works for a casual family dinner or a low-key night out after a day on the water or the beach.

We had a great experience at ocracoke oyster company. Like our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The oyster o’cocker was amazing as well as the crab stuffed flounder. The sides were nothing special though. The blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream was a good way to end out meal. Overall we had a great experience but it may have not been worth the price.

Best raw oysters and crab cake in the OBX! The crab stuffed flounder took me back 30 years when dishes were served with expertise and care. Our waitress Star was friendly, funny and full of knowledge about what we were eating and the island! The owner is just as amazing as his establishment! We genuinely can't wait to visit again not just for the wonder of the island, but for the food, staff and experience of the Ocracoke Oyster Company!

We had lunch here because we were able to bring our dogs. The waitress Kimberly was great, she had a lot of knowledge about the menu and drinks and was very attentive. She even alerted us when others with dogs were coming in. We ordered plain burgers for the pups. Kimberly made sure they had plates, water and were happy. She had the Mahi protein bowl, nice flavors but the fish was a little overcooked. I had the baked oyster sampler. I usually do raw but figured why not. OMG the flavors on all three were great and recommended. Oh yeah, we had Nashville hot wings as an appetizer. They had a nice crunch and you could taste the sweetness from the honey but I had to add habanero sauce for heat.

Where is the food?! I ordered the first mate, expecting an actual seafood platter. I ended up with 5 shrimp, 4 oysters and a thin piece of fish. The baked potato and slaw were absolutely necessary to even call this an entree. The oysters were fantastic and the fish and shrimp were not awful but for $46 ($36+$10 tip) , I expected much more. This is one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had in a while.

Amazing. The service was immaculate, the server was so kind and was back frequently and got us whatever we needed very quickly. The burger and fries I got was also very good, the fries were perfect and crispy, the burger was fresh and cooked correctly and money worth. They are also pet friendly and offer you outdoor seating if you have a dog or pet, they even gave our dog our treat. Overall this made me have a better day.
