Absolute delight! The Sea Chef in Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is a must visit. This place blew me away with the stunning views, the variety of menu options, the cleanliness and the service was outstanding. Camryn our waitress was superb. 👌 She was so friendly and warming, and knowledgeable about the menu options. She suggested the shrimp sliders and they were PERFECTION. Perfectly cooked and tasted so fresh. It was not greasy at all. My husband had the market fish of the day, Cobia and it was so so good. The chef is phenomenal and I will definitely be back to see what else he can do. The pork chops did sound delicious and the scallops and pasta looked awesome as I was looking at dishes as they came out. The atmosphere was so pretty and relaxing. This is a must for date nights, family nights and kicking it solo for some alone time. The outside patio was great. It was pretty windy when we went but it was still amazing. Go see Camryn and have a great time. Ill be stopping again before our trip back to Buffalo. Thanks Sea Chef for the great experience. Keep it up!
Highly Recommend!!!! We took a quick drive in from Rodanthe, NC and ate here for lunch on the deck area. The scenery is beautiful with the water and boats! Staff was very friendly and helpful and food was brought to our table quickly. Everything we ordered we loved! We got the crab dip, charbroiled oysters, hush puppies, and the special fresh caught Mackerel sandwich. It was so delicious that we didn't leave a crumb behind. Bonus, when you're done enjoying your meal, there’s a cute store you can browse and shop in right next door. Snagged myself a cute shirt with the Bodie light house on the back!
Great place! It's obvious the chefs take pride in their food and it comes out on the plate. So glad we found this place! Hidden gem.
I had a shrimp boil and my husband had the fried shrimp platter with hush puppies.
The restaurant was clean & bright & our server, Kate, was excellent.
This is a great spot! Service was great, the women working were friendly food came out quickly. The menu is excellent, I loved how it indicates who caught the fish. I had the crab BLT and my daughter had the crab bites. Both were very fresh and loaded with lump meat, not filler. You can’t beat the view either, watching the boats come in and listening to the birds. Plenty of room to sit in the AC as well.
I ordered out to take back to my campsite across the way at Oregon Inlet Campground. I ordered the mixed green salad with shrimp and the side of brussel sprouts. It was an excellent salad - rainbow of deliciousness. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The brussel sprouts was definitely large enough to be 2 servings. The service was friendly and timely. I didn't stay to eat but the atmosphere is bright. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Lovely place to eat.
