Restaurant near Southern Shores
Shore Coffee Roasters roasts its own beans and runs a full espresso bar out of the Southern Shores Crossing Center, at 1 Ocean Blvd. The drink menu runs from drip coffee and nitro cold brew to espresso drinks, loose-leaf teas, and CBD/THC-infused beverages, and the kitchen turns out a scratch-made breakfast and all-day food menu — fresh-baked pastries, overnight oats, yogurt parfaits, a breakfast frittata, and a rotating lineup of "fancy toasts," with vegan and gluten-free options built in.
It's a grab-and-go-friendly stop for anyone heading to the beach access points along this stretch of Southern Shores, with online ordering through the shop's own site. Shore Coffee Roasters also operates a second cafe up in Duck, a few miles north of this original Southern Shores location.

This place is so adorable!! I am naming this the best coffee shop in OBX. They have a balance and clean taste espresso. The coffee is rich and leaves a perfect taste in your mouth. The staff is so kind and patient. The shop is stunning. It is a perfect place to get some work done and get friends together even get a small group together. I love this coffee shop.

The best coffee in Eastern NC I believe, and I have been to ALOT of coffee shops! It is very apparent that Shore knows what they are doing with roasting their beans and their top notch process with making their espresso. The roaster that can be seen behind glass walls is pretty incredible! The atmosphere is cool Danish modern, the staff is super friendly, and the breakfast is also very good but take note that it is pricey.

Best coffee I had while visiting the outer banks! The espresso had a really balanced flavor and the latte's were not overly sweet. The citrus roll is my favorite pastrie I have had in recent memory. Not overly sweet and perfectly baked. Great atmosphere and the staff were really nice!

Went here on my trip to OBX and came back twice. Service was fantastic, ambiance was cute, the bathroom was stocked with emergency supplies which I greatly appreciated. Tried the mocha- good, the juice- good, the sour cherry espresso soda- great, and the tomato pie iced latte- actually really good! I had to take a star off because the croissant while delicious was $8. Even for DC prices that’s pretty high. Definitely a must visit if you’re into coffee or cute places. Plenty of seating too.

Cute shop with modern hipster vibes 😍 Coffee is really good! We got the Butter Caramel Latte and Hatteras Mocha ☕️ really good and not too sweet. We also split the sausage and egg breakfast croissant 🥐 with the arugula and lemon aioli 🍋 and it was really good; sausage has a good spice to it too!
