Great place for breakfast/brunch. The breakfast tacos were really good, great sausage and grits, eggs were cooked perfectly. Nice view outside too.

A quick, budget-friendly bite in the heart of Ocracoke village
Stockroom Street Food is a casual, counter-service stop on Irvin Garrish Hwy in Ocracoke village, priced at the budget end and built for a quick bite rather than a sit-down meal. It runs on island time: open six days a week, with longer weekday hours and a shorter weekend window.
That distinction matters if you're timing a visit around it — Saturday and Sunday wrap up two hours earlier than the rest of the week, so a stop that works on a Wednesday afternoon won't on a Sunday. Since Ocracoke is reachable only by ferry, from Hatteras village, Cedar Island, or Swan Quarter, it's worth building the crossing time into your plans either way. The location puts it within easy reach of the Silver Lake waterfront, making it a convenient stop before or after exploring the village on foot. Call ahead at (252) 928-0627 to confirm hours, particularly in the shoulder seasons when small island businesses sometimes adjust their schedules.

Out of the 760 contributions I made on Google, this might be the realest five star I’ve left. Literally flawless! Every bite, every employee, everything, PERFECTION! Our family will come back to Ocracoke just to eat here.

Really great breakfast. Best overnight oats I’ve had. Loved the plantain bowl!
