I wanted to like this place, but my experience here showed me I won’t be coming back.
Unfortunately, we started with sweet teas where there mysterious globular clumps floating. Which I didn’t know were there until I sucked one up through my straw 🤮. Which leads me to believe cleaning standards may not be stressed highly. When told about it, the server simply took the drinks back but didn’t refund us and still charged for teas we didn’t even drink.
The food was fine overall. They have good portions, but the taste of a good amount of there food simply tastes frozen and premade. There were good parts of each meal, but even the sides tasted off.
Service was great until she got in the weeds. They were quite busy, so we had no trouble waiting. However, it looked like most tables waited another 45 min-1hr for their food. Our server acknowledged the tea situation when we brought it to her attention, but continued serving tea to other patrons, and never had a manager notified.
The view was awesome looking at the bay and would be a reason to visit.

Although we didn't sit outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery, the inside was just as nice. The atmosphere was very beach house relaxation with a nice layout. Food selection was a little more limited but something for everyone which is always nice. Everything was very flavorful and enough to have something to take home. Kid-friendly even with a bar connected to the main seating area.
They got us in fast- VERY nice people who waited on us. We just swung in as there was an accident and we wanted a couple drinks and some oysters to watch the sunset, totally worth it for the price (less than a lot of the places around here). Gorgeous place for sunsets and the oysters were fresh, beers were around $6ish each. Parked across the street with no issue.
The place is huge and clean. Right in the water with a deck to walk out on. We sat outside. The service was great. The guy kid was delicious. I had lobster fries. Yummy. I also had fish tacos that were made with mahi. The fish was so fresh and the taco was dressed tasty. My husband had 1/2 dozen clams and 1/2 dozen oysters and a blackened tuna wrap which he said was delicious.
At first we were skeptical due to some poor reviews from a long time ago. However, fortunately for us, we were seated immediately, our server was prompt and the food not only arrived quickly but was delicious and fresh. The oysters were super fresh, our firecracker shrimp appetizer was delicious and perfectly crispy and the bowl of she crab soup was warm and buttery, a perfect choice for a windy North Carolina day. The prices were very reasonable and everyone around us seemed to be having just as good a time as we were. All of the staff were extremely nice and attentive, would highly recommend checking out this spot.
