Casual fare surf bar with a laid back relaxed atmosphere. Good sized portions on our entrees. Fries were a little under cooked but the burgers were nicely done. Be sure to check out the "adult" milkshake options. Probably the best part of the menu for my tastes.

Stopped by The Bronzer Shack and really enjoyed it. The food was good overall, but the crab cakes definitely stood out; super meaty and tasted really fresh. The drinks were also fun and fit the beach vibe perfectly. One thing to know if you’re bringing a dog, only service animals are allowed inside and in the back seating area. Otherwise, you’ll have to sit out front on the benches. Luckily the weather was nice when we went, so it still worked out for us.

Hit this spot while there for Spring Break. We've been to OBX dozens of times, but first visit to Bonzer Shack. Staff was awesome, atmosphere on brand with surfing videos on tvs and beachy decor. Food was great. Too chilly for the outside deck but it looked like a great place for summer.

If you’re searching for a place to truly unwind by the beach… this is it. 🌊✨ From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless and relaxing. The view alone was worth the visit — ocean breeze, calming waves, and the perfect atmosphere to just slow down and enjoy the moment. The hospitality was exceptional, the service was attentive and welcoming, and the food came out incredibly fast without sacrificing quality. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and memorable. And the drinks? Easily a 5 out of 5. 🍹 This is more than just a place to eat — it’s a place to reset, recharge, and experience the beach the way it’s meant to be enjoyed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great vibes, amazing food, and a peaceful coastal escape.

The food here was awful. My queso was cold, she took it back to reheat it and brought it back half empty and slightly warmer. I got a fish sandwich and a orange crush. A meal for 2 was 86$. The waitress was so nice but the atmosphere was bad. Drunks screaming about dodgecoin . Never again. if you're a normal family id avoid this place. Whoever 5 stars this place I guess they're just used to eating out of trash cans.
