WOW!!! I cannot express how much this place amazed me! We were on vacation celebrating our 3-month wedding anniversary—which was also our delayed honeymoon since we got married back in May—and wanted a special, upscale spot to celebrate.We made a 5:00 PM reservation right when they opened. When we pulled up, a huge crowd was waiting to get in—always a fantastic sign! We were greeted warmly, seated immediately, and our server, Steve, was phenomenal. He was completely on top of everything, from explaining the menu and specials to suggesting wines and checking on us perfectly.The food was absolutely amazing and hands-down the best meal we had during our entire week in the Outer Banks! But the absolute star of the show was the coconut cream pie. Even if you are completely full, do not skip dessert! Highly, highly recommend this place
It was our first time going there tonight and everyone was very nice, polite, and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy, beautiful, comfortable, and romantic. The food was delicious and everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. It’s probably one of the best steaks I’ve had. Lastly, the lighting outside around the building and wrapped around the historic oak tree out front is very relaxing and sets a whole vibe for the restaurant. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!! 👍🏼❤️
Everything was delicious. I ordered the tuna fish with a cumin sauce and mashed potatoes, which were both tasty. My girlfriend opted for the seafood pasta, and it was absolutely incredible. I tried the seafood sauce with my tuna, and it was an amazing combination. I highly recommend the pasta and the scallops with teriyaki! I loved them.
This was our first visit here and gosh it was amazing ✨ ask for Taylor to be your server! She knows the menu and wine selection thoroughly and has a heart of gold. 10/10 service. We ordered some apps and both seafood specials- salmon/flounder/shrimp/softshell crab were the main players. The dinner was fresh and full of color and flavor. The sides were all dressed to impress. It was our first time and def won’t be our last.
We had another great experience at Colington Cafe! The host greeted us as if we were family and the waitress was warm and so kind! The special appetizer of whipped feta was divine! Our food was wonderful, we had the chef special snapper with crab meat and local catch of the day, grilled mahi. Found another bottle of wine to love as well! Thank you for a wonderful visit!
