Great coffee! The vibe is also super cute, modern, and cozy! Their coffee flavors aren’t as sweet as a regular coffee syrup because it’s made in house. If you usually get half sweet then keep the normal amount they give you and if you don’t like half sweet, ask for a little extra flavoring. Overall, the staff is so sweet and pretty fast making the coffee! The coffee shop is also across the street from the beach so you can enjoy it on the beach or walk up to the small piers leading to the water. I would say this is my new top 5 coffee shop in OBX. Totally recommend!

Really cannot say enough good things. Coffee and espresso are absolutely 10/10, staff is friendly and wonderful. What more can you want? Definitely go.

Mike and his locally roasted coffee are the go to for any serious coffee aficionado. His quality roasted coffee can stand alone for those wanting a straight up cup a Joe. I got a decaf espresso and cut it with a splash of oat milk. I asked for a strong cup and it did not disappoint. It was the best coffee I have had in years. Or if you latte or cortado those are beachy ;) My daughter, got the brown shuga extra sweet, and loved every bit of its sugary goodness. My husband tried the la Lora smoothie and he loved it. Real fruits were used for a quality smoothie experience. This is our favorite coffee house in OBX. Stop by, chat with Mike, see for yourself, you will be glad you did! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’ve been doing a little coffee tour of the OBX on vacation, and The Den was hands-down our favorite. My iced latte was easily the best I’ve had all week — absolutely delicious. What really made this place special though was the experience. We had such a lovely time talking with the owner and his family, with three generations all there in the shop. Add in their very sweet senior dog hanging out on site, and it was pretty much impossible not to fall in love with the place. Great coffee, wonderful people, and the kind of warm, welcoming atmosphere you hope to stumble across when you’re traveling. We left genuinely happy we’d found it. Can’t say enough nice things about The Den!

Really cute coffee shop and friendly staff. We tried the brown sugar shaken and it was made perfectly. Coffee wasn’t made too sweet either and had great flavor.
