Pizza had good flavor but misses the mark for toppings at the price they charge. We ordered a pepperoni, a meat lovers and a supreme. None was of had any decent topping amount and you can’t even see the veggies on supreme. Unfortunately fresh pizza options are limited in the area, but I’m sure my pizza craving could have been better satisfied with a frozen pizza at 1/3 the price.

The biggest issue I faced with this place was that it was simply not open. The first time it said they were coming back at four and the second time it said they were coming back at 8. I eventually did order a pepperoni pizza from here and the entire pizza probably had 8 pepperoni on it total. Lisa's pizza gave me a far better experience for toppings and being open. The donuts at this place were good but I cannot recommend them because they simply close when they run out of donuts and this happened repeatedly to me.

Stopped here while on vacation. Once for doughnuts and once for pizza. Doughnuts are decent doughnuts. Taste good. The pizza is really good. Much better than Lisa’s up the road (we tried both) if I’m getting pizza in Rodanthe I’m going here from now on. The guys in the shop are laid back and friendly.

We have had 2 amazing experiences at the Dough Shack since June 1st. In my opinion, their pizza is the best in the TriVillages and you can't beat the price! The owner couldn't have been nicer. The donuts were really good too. We will continue to support this business.

The food was outstanding! Great pizza and great flavor. The customer service could be a little better in my opinion but would gladly give it another shot when visiting next time.
