Tina's Poolside Cafe

Tina's Poolside Cafe sits right on NC-12 in Rodanthe, serving breakfast and lunch seven days a week from 8 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon. Rodanthe is the northernmost of Hatteras Island's strung-together villages — Waves and Salvo sit just south of it — making this one of the first food stops after crossing the Marc Basnight Bridge over Oregon Inlet from Whalebone Junction. Since the kitchen closes by mid-afternoon, plan on it for a morning or early-afternoon meal rather than dinner.
