Tina's Poolside Cafe sits right on NC-12 in Rodanthe, serving breakfast and lunch seven days a week from 8 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon. Rodanthe is the northernmost of Hatteras Island's strung-together villages — Waves and Salvo sit just south of it — making this one of the first food stops after crossing the Marc Basnight Bridge over Oregon Inlet from Whalebone Junction. Since the kitchen closes by mid-afternoon, plan on it for a morning or early-afternoon meal rather than dinner.

While staying at the KOA for our honeymoon, my husband and I visited Tina's for breakfast. I am not typically a breakfast person but the mexican breakfast burrito was definitely worth it! The way the bacon and chorizo blend together and then you add the freshness of the avocado. Perfection. I will definitely be getting another one before we leave. My husband got the biscuits and gravy. The fact that they toast the biscuits takes it to another level. And the portion was incredible. He couldn't even finish it. Can't wait to try lunch and dinner here! Spectacular service, speed of getting our food, the cleanliness of the dining area...everything! Highly recommend.

I enjoyed ordeing from here, the workers are so nice! The iced coffees are worth the try! Tina’s tots and nachos are excellent! I love the amount of different protein we can add to customize our food.

We enjoyed the food and the prices were also very reasonable. Just be mindful of their hours if you choose to dine here.

Dude you gotta try Tina’s!!! My favorite is their Flounder sandwich- or is it one of their bowls?!! It’s all so good ya can’t go wrong. And it’s poolside, so after you stuff yourself there’s a poolside bar and live music most evenings in the summer. Seriously 5 stars for good food and fun atmosphere.

We grabbed some biscuits and gravy after a swim at the KOA pool. They were great and I would definitely recommend. I wish they were opened past 3pm but I know they probably need it set up that way. We will be back!
