I really enjoyed this place. The bartender was super nice & helpful. We enjoyed a charcuterie with delicious meats, cheeses & sauces! Scrumptious! The cocktails were delicious as well. Thank you so much!

A Kitty Hawk restaurant and bottle shop rolled into one, with a bar built for slow evenings
TRIO Restaurant & Market sits on N Croatan Highway in Kitty Hawk, at the quieter north end of the beach road corridor before it runs south into Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head. The name is literal: it's a restaurant, a bar, and a market sharing one building, built around a serious selection of wine, craft beer, and liquor you can either order with dinner or pick up a bottle of on your way out.
It's open daily, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and 11 a.m. the rest of the week, with the kitchen and bar running until 9 p.m. every night. That kind of daily consistency is handy on a barrier island where plenty of kitchens close mid-afternoon between lunch and dinner service. Given its spot on the Croatan Highway corridor, it's an easy stop for anyone moving between Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills.

Always a great experience here. The staff is attentive and friendly and the vibe here is unmatched- it truly feels like a piece of Europe when you walk inside. The seafood risotto and caramelized onion dip are 10/10. Also one of the few places I can find a gluten free crab cake which is amazing. Thankful for good GF dining options!!

The wife and I went to Trio back when they first had the wine dispenser machine. They have only gotten better over the years. Now, it's the first night's stop when we go to the OBX. The food is always good and fresh. The staff and service is very good and attentive. The wines are too notch also. Worth the visit

Love this place. Everytime we come to the OBX we make sure we stop, have a glass of wine and their famous homemade onion dip. Great atmosphere and there is plenty of wine and beer to buy Overall a unique place to eat and shop.
