Tugs is such a fantastic addition to Avon. It has exactly the kind of welcoming, relaxed, soundside atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. I spent a long weekend in town with my teenage daughter, and we ended up stopping in at some point every single day because it was such a nice place to hang out.
The draft selection is excellent, and there are also plenty of bottled and canned options, including non-alcoholic choices, THC beverages, Mexican sodas, and other fun drinks. It is the kind of place where everyone can find something they will enjoy, even if they are not drinking beer. They also have lots of snacks, games, and plenty to keep people comfortable and entertained.
Tugs is family friendly, pet friendly, and just an all-around great spot whether you are looking for a drink, a place to relax after the beach, or somewhere casual to spend time with friends. Highly recommend making this a regular stop if you are in Avon.
Very friendly staff, great beer selection with a lot of NA and other drink options. Perfect for a pre dinner drink or a stop by after the beach.
Perfect little waterside taproom. They have a nice selection of regional brewers and even some “infused” selections. Very friendly service and free popcorn!! Various canned bevies to go and a few snacky selections. The place was very quiet when we visited and it was a perfect place to just chill out for a while and watch the local otter family.
Very nice new spot on the island. Great selection of taps, snacks, and chilled cans. Most of everything that's on taps you can buy in cans. Staff is kind and friendly and the place is very clean. They even have lots of board games you can sit inside and play or take on the outside patio overlooking the sound. Be sure and put the seasoning on the free self serve popcorn! Stop by, totally worth it and I'll be doing the same.
Beautiful view (especially at sunset), super friendly service, huge selection (rotating taps as well as cans). Definitely would come back.
