About

Urban Kitchen is a restaurant on Currituck Clubhouse Drive in Corolla, NC, priced at the $$$ level — upscale for this stretch of the Outer Banks rather than a casual counter-service spot. This listing doesn't carry a specific cuisine category or posted hours, and it doesn't have reviews or a star rating logged here either, so treat those as gaps in the data rather than red flags about the business itself.

Corolla's dining scene runs from beach-shack casual to genuinely dressed-up, and a $$$ price point puts Urban Kitchen toward the upscale end of that range. The address sits in Corolla proper, on paved road, well south of the 4x4-only beaches where the pavement ends and the wild horses roam. Duck's soundside boardwalk and shops are a short drive south, so it's easy to pair a meal here with a day spent between the two towns.

  • Address: 603B Currituck Clubhouse Dr, Corolla, NC 27927
  • Phone: (252) 453-4453
  • Website: urbankitchenobx.com

Hours aren't listed here, so call ahead or check the restaurant's own website before planning a visit — especially outside peak summer, when some Corolla restaurants scale back their schedules.

Food: We had the apple arugula salad, salmon, chicken, and French fries. Everything was delicious and so tasty! Great quality overall. Service: Our server was great. He was very friendly and checked in on us to make sure we had what we needed. Great customer service. Ambiance: the place is on the smaller end so just make sure you know about their max 6 people policy! The food is worth the wait.

Do not sleep on this amazing dinner spot! Chef has perfected every bite, uses seasonal ingredients and hits it out of the park night after night. We’ve been going every time we are in town, this year we went every.single.night and can’t wait to go tomorrow too. The naan, the carrots, the salmon and black rice I’ll dream about….down to amazing desserts. Must go. Trust me.

Fabulous dinner! Our favorite when we come. I had the Rock Fish. Incredible, flaky, perfectly cooked. The peach salad with greens and feta was a summer delight and the peaches were sweet and juicy. The staff is always on the run and everything was hot, beautifully played and the cocktails were fresh! ONLY thing is I wish they would have a sign up sheet for the 5 pm seating! People get nervous and unsettled with the honor system of who got there first, second etc. it can get a little testy…. We will be back again and again for their fresh and amazing food!!

Incredible. my date and I split 4 of the starter dishes. The special soft shell crab over black eyed peas, a rabbit cassoulet, the evening soup offering and a fried halloumi chees with a sweet jam and crushed pistachio. everything was superb. the rabbit was tender and rich and the fiddle ferns in the base are always a spring treat. the soup was a creamy potato spinach that was not just delicious but a pleasing shade of green that stood out in the bowl. but what sent the evening into best meal of the year ranking was the softshell crab. Meaty would be an understatement, one crab was more than enough for two to share, perfectly fried in a crispy yet not overwhelming batter, and the blacked eyed peas were done by someone who understands how difficult it is to make them crisp while still tender. Jen and Joe always make such amazing food And Lori is an absolute joy. Best meal of the year top slot. thank you guys so much.

Don’t sleep on this hidden gem 💎in Corolla. Some of the local folks over at Bacchus Wine recommend that ww try Urban Kitchen, and they were top notch. The Salmon & Asparagus appetizer was unique and refreshing. The beet salad was well prepared and the micro greens that accompanied them were super fresh. The pork chop was cooked to temperature and that grit cake was its own vibe. The Pecan Crusted Salmon was the perfect portion size and the accompanied spinach and sauce were a great pairing. The ambiance was casual but nice and the service was on point. I’ll definitely make it a point to come back next time I’m in Corolla. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem that’s a local favorite.
