That means grocery runs aren't casual, and a market that carries both everyday staples and specialty items right in the village saves a return ferry trip. Zillie's fills that role, stocking pantry basics alongside wine, beer, and spirits for the length of a stay.

Grew up in Virginia Beach and had our honeymoon in Ocracoke 2005 and became addicted to weekend trips and Zillie’s became a favorite!!! Actually the whole Island, locals and the history! We live in the Rocky Mountains and there’s nothing like the OBX!! I’m really grateful for all the years of fun and memories!! This mug is one of my all time favorites and it’s from 20 years ago!!!

This is a lovely wine bar with great cheeses, crackers and tinned fishes type snacks. So the google catergory is not helpful as a convenience store .... Single serve drinls only, no 6 or 12 packs. This is not a pantry for travelers. But cute bar!!!

This shop is amazing!! Great place to stop by for an afternoon beer or glass of wine. They LOVE having dogs. They even gave our dog a full Bowl of water. Hundred of wines, lots of beers on tap, and I even saw they have some delta 8 gummies if that’s your thing. But the best was that they had dill pickle chips!!

Seemed like a nice, quaint spot at first look. Browsed the wine selection and saw some I recognized as overpriced cheap wine, and some that I am sure is expensive by nature. Nothing was really appealing to me but I kept browsing and hoping I’d see something. The lady at the bar never greeted me or offered assistance but I didn’t think much of it. Then I hear some guy sitting at the bar slurring his words while talking to the barmaid and dropping the F bomb with no reaction from her. We locked eyes and I could see he was clearly inebriated. That told me everything I needed to know about the atmosphere. If I want a bar I’ll go to a bar. Hard pass on this establishment.

Such a great spot to enjoy a beer or glass of wine!! Outside seating is perfect. Lots of variety. I love that they also offer great snacks to pair with your drink!!! Excellent service and a wonderful spot for a quick day drink!
