We went out in late August with Captain Kelly, who is a 5* person and Captain, pulled some lovely shells as trinkets, and far more clams than I ever thought imaginable. Steaming that very weekend in garlic and wine delivered the best clams I've ever had! I would take this trip for the boat ride alone. Beautiful. Highly recommended.

Went on a boat ride with Captain Kelly today to do some shelling. We went to 3 different places and found tons of cool shells. My family and I (1 preteen and 1 teenager) enjoyed spending the morning on the water. Captain Kelly was very accommodating and friendly. We found tons of sand dollars, but ended up releasing them since they were still alive. We had a group of 8 and Kelly had another boat lined up and we traveled from spot to spot together. Definitely recommend!!

Second year going clamming and shelling with Countrytime Coastal. It’s always a blast! Highly recommend. We got many large seashells in a number of different varieties. The water was clear and warm. Clamming was easy, fun, and we took home a bunch. The Capt Kelly (Jr or Sr) clan is highly knowledgeable on the area and will show your party a great time on the water.

Our day with Captain Kelly was perfect! My spouse and I invited my sister and 7 year old niece to go on the half day fishing and clamming trip. My niece had never done fishing or clamming before, and my spouse had never done clamming or ocean fishing. Let me tell you, we had a great day! We had an extra special treat of getting to get up close with a pod of dolphins who were also fishing and teaching babies to fish on our way to the clam beds. We mostly wanted to go clamming but we did put lines in the water on our way and caught a bluefish, which my niece got to reel in, after which she exclaimed, "this is fun!" At the clam beds we found over 100 clams! My niece also found many things to look at, a sand dollar, crabs, hermit crabs, and other things. At the end my niece said she wanted to do it next year and with the same Captain, so I think we can say we had a wonderful time! We cooked the clams that evening and I helped my niece batter and fry her bluefish and eat it. The only thing we'd do differently next year is make sure to book earlier in our trip because 100 clams in one night was a lot to eat! We didn't know we'd be that successful! See you next year!

Had the absolute best time on our first ever clamming adventure with Captain Kelly! Could not have asked for a better time. Easy to call and book, prices reasonable, and Kelly is professional & friendly. We even had to request a last second schedule change and it was so kindly accommodated. Boat ride out was flawless & fun, went to a great spot where we got off the boat & immediately found clams within seconds. What a blast. Husband and I were the only 2 on the trip; we pulled up 122 clams! Brought them back and Kelly was kind enough to provide guidance on how to store them. He also taught us how to crack them open and eat on the spot with hot sauce- so good! What a cool guy with a great business. We will sure make our way back for another excursion with Countrytime Coastal. Highly recommend, 10/10!
