The shop keeps long daily hours, open 8am to 7:30pm every day of the week, which covers early ferry arrivals looking to get settled in and evening trips out for dinner or a look at the harbor at sunset. For an island this size, with the village, the harbor, and the docks all within a short ride of each other, a rented cart covers most of what a visitor without a car needs for a few days on Ocracoke.

I've been renting from them for over 5 years. The staff members are extremely friendly and willing to help. They always have our golf carts ready to go when I arrive on the island. I highly recommend them. Update for 2026: They moved their location next to the firehouse. I reserved the golf cart online prior to my arrival on the island, and it was waiting at my rental house. Ryan was very nice and offered to assist if I had any issues. The golf cart I received was clean and ran smoothly. I would definitely rent from them again.

Great experience with this company time and time again. Their new location further down the highway is much more accessible. We had our cart inadvertently taken and it was replaced in less than 2 minutes. Will definitely always continue using this closing for cart rentals every year
