Frisco Mini Golf & Go Karts sits along NC-12 in Frisco, the stretch of Hatteras Island between Buxton and Hatteras village, and does exactly what the name promises: a mini golf course and a go-kart track in one spot, open into the evening most of the year. It's a low-key, straightforward entertainment stop — no reservations, no big production, just a round of golf and a few laps around the track after a day at the beach or up the road at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse grounds.

  • Hours: Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday hours aren't listed, so call ahead if you're planning to stop by that day.

Water features are breeding grounds for west nile virus. You will be eaten alive! Between the heat and the bugs, we didnt complete the course. Unfortunately, a thumbs down for us. And 15.00 a person is not worth it.

Go carts are WAY over priced. Mini golf was nice. Don't go in the evening. There are 6 or 7 small still water ponds and The mosquitoes are insane!

I’d recommend making the trip up to Nags Head if you’re looking for mini golf. We stay in Rodanthe every year and have played at all the spots in Nags Head and KDH, so decided to try this place out. It was infested with mosquitoes, huge black and red ants on and around all of the greens, and the mini golf course was largely in disrepair. At $15 per person, not worth the money in my opinion.
