Would give a zero if I could! My family is here on vacation and wanted to all golf together but they were told only 4 could play and they had 5. One of my son's had to stay back at the house and didnt get to go with all the other guys. We were ok with that and understood until they started playing and they were behind a group of 6!! Very inconsistent with rules. Complained to staff that they couldn't have 5 but they allowed the group in front of them to have 6 and the staff could care less. Would highly recommend going to another golf course in the area!

Played here one time and were told over the phone that we weren’t able to bring a 5th or we would be separated. Get here and are put behind a group of 6 people (told we couldn’t play 5) tried calling the ranger and he had nothing to say to them other than try and speed it up which did nothing. If you like being able to do whatever you want to do then this course is for you. Also not to mention a group passes us with 3 people in one cart.

Great fun with great friends. Not a complicated course, great variety of pars, need a collared shirt… Driving range is nice very affordable and night time driving is fun as well. Good times great staff clean course.

Played Holly Ridge recently and overall had a good experience. The staff was super friendly and really made you feel welcome right from the start — you can tell they care about the players. The layout of the course is decent, with a mix of challenging and forgiving holes that keep things interesting. The greens are on the smaller side and could use a little more attention — some were bumpy and inconsistent, but still playable. A little more care with general maintenance and clearer signage between holes would go a long way in improving the overall experience. That said, for the price you pay, it’s not a bad deal at all. You get a fun round of golf, a laid-back atmosphere, and staff who genuinely make an effort to give you a good day on the course. I’d definitely come back again, especially for the value.

I had the pleasure of playing at Holly Ridge Golf Course recently, and I can honestly say it was an outstanding experience. The course itself is beautiful, offering a perfect balance of challenge and playability for golfers of all skill levels. From the lush fairways to the meticulously kept greens, it’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining this place. But what really stood out to me was the incredible work done by the maintenance team. They do an absolutely amazing job making sure the course is in pristine condition. You can tell they’re passionate about their work, and it really elevates the entire experience. The course was not only visually stunning, but it also played like a dream – smooth, well-manicured, and just overall top-notch.The staff at Holly Ridge is also very welcoming and professional, making for a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a great round of golf in a beautiful setting. Huge kudos to the maintenance crew for keeping everything in perfect shape!
