Paradise Golf & Arcade sits right on Croatan Highway in Kill Devil Hills, part of the steady strip of beach-town businesses along the Beach Road corridor. As the name suggests, it's a mini golf and arcade stop — the kind of low-key, kid-friendly spot families pull into after a day on the sand when everyone needs something to do that isn't the beach.

The doors open early and stay open late, running daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. — plenty of room to fit in a round in the afternoon or a stop after dinner. Its location on N Croatan Hwy puts it within a short drive of most Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head rentals, right along the main corridor that runs the length of the northern Outer Banks beach towns.

A little pricey, but had a good time. To play any arcade games you have to purchase a card, then load the card. Would have been nice to just put dollars and coins in.

We popped in at the end of our trip to kill some time before the airport and it did not disappoint! It was fairly empty at midday on Sunday which made navigating everything a breeze. The kids loved the go karts, and the owner happened to pass by and insisted they go again since they had so much fun. We talked for a bit afterwards and it’s clear that this is a family run establishment that is cared for. The owner was so kind and was so glad the kids were having such a good time. It’s a great place for younger kids to spend a couple hours playing and enjoying themselves. Thank you again!

Rides were fun, but the young girl at the front desk was incredibly rude for no reason. We would have spent more money if we didn’t have to go back and purchase tickets from her.
