Sea Scape Golf Links

A dune-top round in Kitty Hawk with more elevation change than most Outer Banks courses

About

Sea Scape Golf Links is built over some of the more dramatic natural dune terrain you'll find on a northern Outer Banks course, with fairways that roll over ridges in Kitty Hawk instead of running flat the way most coastal layouts do. That elevation change is unusual for a barrier island course, and it opens up long views west toward the sound from several of the higher holes.

The course sits just off the Croatan Highway corridor, close enough to Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head that it's an easy stop before or after a beach day without putting you in the thick of the strip. It's open seven days a week, with tee times running from early morning into late afternoon, so there's flexibility to work a round around a tide chart or a dinner reservation.

  • Address: 300 W Eckner St, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949
  • Phone: (252) 261-2158
  • Hours: Daily, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Wind off the sound is a real factor on this layout most of the year, more so in the fall and winter months, so it's worth calling ahead or checking conditions if club selection matters to you. Shoulder-season mornings in April, May, September, and October tend to bring the calmest air and the thinnest tee sheets.

This place was GREAT! We are staying in Corolla and the 40 minute drive was worth the 8:10 tee time and experience. Dan, at the front of the pro shop, made it a pleasure from when we signed in til the moment we left. The grill had a full menu, solid bites and meals. Skip, the starter, brought jokes to us and told us about the view on the 17th green. Definitely recommend!

Unreasonably priced. Just trying to gouge vacationeers. Sad to see.

This course is as well managed as they come. Fantastic people all around. Had some rain hit us on the back nine and received a rain check. Greatly appreciated. Course is fun as well. Highly recommend. Love this place!

Not the friendliest staff at Sea scape. We started the round with a condescending staffer complaining that we didn't stop to find him before we got to the first hole. At the turn, everyone was called back to the clubhouse for lightning and was told that no one needs to die today. We also played the Pointe and Carolina club this week and has a better experience at both. I highly recommend those other two courses and just skip seascape.
