About

Corolla Village Inn sits on Persimmon Street in Corolla, on the paved end of the northern Outer Banks — well south of the 4x4-only beaches where the Corolla Wild Horse Fund's wild Spanish mustangs roam. It's straightforward, car-accessible lodging for visitors who want easy access to the beach without needing four-wheel drive.

Corolla's village landmarks are all within reach from here: the climbable 1875 Currituck Beach Lighthouse, the restored 1920s Whalehead Club mansion, and the surrounding grounds of Currituck Heritage Park. Duck's soundside boardwalk and boutique shops are a short drive south on NC-12, and the Pine Island nature trail sits between the two towns for a quieter walk. Corolla's beaches are minutes away in any direction.

  • Paved, car-accessible location — no 4x4 required
  • Close to Currituck Beach Lighthouse, Whalehead Club, and Currituck Heritage Park
  • Convenient to both Corolla's beaches and Duck's shops via NC-12

Contact Corolla Village Inn directly by phone or through its website for current rates, availability, and property details, since those vary by season.

We loved our short weekend stay. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and feel modern and high end. Public areas are very inviting - morning coffee on an Adirondack chair on the 2nd floor overlooking the sound in the distance was pretty magical. We used the bikes for a nice ride around the village and surrounding area. Overall, just a really nice and relaxing getaway spot, very well managed and maintained!

This is my favorite inn of all time. There’s such a noticeable difference of staying at a property owned and operated by a local and the committed staff. They pay attention to the details which makes for a special stay. We especially enjoy the spacious rooms, the walkable location, and the pantry- stocked with coffee, bevies, and snacks.

My husband and I have been coming to Corolla Village Inn since the first week it opened. Unless we come down with family, we never stay any where else. The staff is the friendliest and very knowledgeable about the island’s hidden gems from restaurants to not to miss tourist sights. We truly love this Inn and Hadli and the staff.
