Durant Station

Durant Station is a vacation rental company based in Hatteras village, at the southern tip of Hatteras Island within Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The village sits along NC-12, the only road linking the island's string of communities, and is the departure point for the free NC ferry to Ocracoke Island. NC-12 does close periodically during storms, and hurricane season (June through November) is worth planning around here more than in most of the region.
