Good to Know Before You Book

  • Office hours run 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, every day.
  • The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is currently closed to climbing after a cast-iron bracket issue turned up during restoration work; the closure is expected to run through at least the end of 2026.
  • NC-12 is the only road linking Hatteras Island's villages, and it can close during storms — hurricane season runs June through November, with the highest risk in August through October.

Had an amazing time here. The location was amazing. Just walk right out into the beach. The place was very clean. And the host/ staff were very friendly and helpful.

This place is so awesome and the staff is friendly and helpful. Its wonderful to meet genuine people that dont have an agenda behind their smile. I spent 3 days here and it was wonderful from the view to the surrounding stores and tourists sights. To hear the waves while u fall asleep to the waking up to the sunrise over the ocean with a sensible cup of coffee.

I walk out the door to my room and down a flight of steps and I'm on the beach. At night I sit on the balcony and listen to the waves crashing. In the morning I see the sunrise from my balcony. Great view, great location.

Great little motel! Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. Can go right out on the little bit of beach behind the buildings.
